The International DanceChance Foundation is founded in 2014 in Arnhem the Netherlands by John Bliekendaal – The Netherlands,  Tomaz Rode, Slovenia – Antonio Chamizo – Spain, Christian Wucherpfennig – Germany.

The International DanceChance Foundation is official registrated at the register of the Kamer van Koophandel in Arnhem, The Netherlands under number 60998287 – RSIN 854157499

The International DanceChance Foundation has obtained the ANBI status and the ANBI Cultural status in June 2014.

The International DanceChance Foundation is dedicated to providing funds for international, individual young dance talents out of Europem who wish to participate in dance education. It seeks to provide aspiring dancers with the opportunity to fullfil their dreams whether to start a dance career or continue with their. Besides, the Foundation supports dance projects in the dance working field.

Our mission

The International DanceChance Foundation is created to provide aspiring, underprivileged dancers the financial support necessary to pursue a quality dance education and fulfill their artistic goals. Scholarship funds will be used to assist in paying for dance education at accredited schools, for dance projects of organizations or institutions who are partnered with the International DanceChance Foundation.

The International DanceChance Foundation has the aim to be  partnered with a diversity of  Classic / Neo Classic / Modern / Contemporary International professional Dance Schools and Dance Talent Development Institutions out of  different countries in Europe.

The International DanceChance Foundation wants to be a dance platform as well, where initiatives for new dance talent development programs can be disscused or developped by organising  performances, international symposiums, festivals or exchange meetings with the international partners of the foundation.

History International DanceChance Foundation

In 2003 John Bliekendaal and Christian Wucherpfennig  founded the ARDT Foundation in Arnhem, the Netherlands, to provide aspiring, underprivileged dancers the financial support necessary to pursue a quality dance education and fulfill their artistic goals.

Ten years long they organised every year in the Theatre Schouwburg of Arnhem , The Netherlands an International ARDT Dance Benefit Gala with International dance companies, famous principal dancers and young dance talent from all over the world. Ten years long the best companies and dancers from the world have been supporting the foundation all those years by dancing in these gala’s and making it possible to fullfill the dancers dreams of more then 32 international young talented starting dancers.

In 2014 John Bliekendaal and Christian Wucherpfennig left the ARDT Foundation as director, to start with a new International Foundation in a more European context. Together and with a new board existing out of international well known dance experts and with the support of the international dance world and international professional danceschools they have founded this new International DanceChance Foundation.
